Fall Quarter Welcome Events
To our new students this Fall Quarter, welcome to South Seattle College! To those of you who are returning, welcome back!
To get the year started off right, we are holding two welcome events where you’ll be able to connect with fellow students, meet staff and faculty, and learn about many fun student activities and advantageous student services that will help you make this academic journey an absolute success.
Welcome Fair on October 1st (Thursday)
12-2 p.m. at the Clock Tower Plaza
On Thursday, October 1, the Welcome Fair takes place at our Clock Tower Plaza (the center of campus, where it’s always bustling with activity between classes) from 12-2 p.m. We’ll have staff there to tell you about the many services available on campus, and how they can help you have a successful year. You can also meet your student government representatives. For new and returning students, the Welcome Fair is a great way to connect!
Bite of South on October 6th (Tuesday)
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Mixing food and knowledge is always a good thing for college students! With Bite of South, you’ll meet in front of the Jerry Brockey Student Center (the north-facing entrance, near the bookstore) and start the adventure from there!
Are you wondering what resources there are for you on campus? Join South in welcoming you back to school while you learn about what each department has to offer. Light refreshments will be served at each department.
