DiscoverU Week 2017
South Seattle College is excited to be partnering with the Road Map Project again this year for our annual DiscoverU Week; a week of activities to build excitement around college and career exploration. Events will be happening across Seattle and South King County from October 23-27 in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, businesses, community-based organizations, libraries, city governments and community members. South is joining the region to support our students and community members as they explore their futures and think about how education and training will help them reach their academic and career goals.

Monday 10/23: Classroom to Career Day

Tuesday 10/24: Discover STEM
Keep your eyes on South's social media channels as we celebrate our Science, Technology, Engineering and Math programs, clubs and organizations!

- Ready to transfer to a four-year college or university? Get transfer tips for any program, and discover STEM success stories to guide you on your transfer journey!
Wednesday 10/25: College Gear Day
Wear your South or future college or university gear! Take a selfie and post on social media to show your pride with #DiscoverU!
Bite of South, 11:30-1:30 p.m., JMB
- See South pride in action, meet new friends and learn more about Student Life at South. Join us for FREE food, prizes and activities!
Thursday 10/26: Campus Heroes Day
Who's your campus hero? Discover ways to find a staff/faculty hero at South through student mentorship stories on social media.
International Transfer Fair, 2-4 p.m., JMB A/B
- Become a transfer hero! Learn more about transfer pathways and speak with admission advisors from across the US!
Friday 10/27: Flash Forward Friday
Where will you be after graduation? Finish off the week by celebrating your future career! Take a selfie and use #flashforwardFriday!
