Several Student Services Shifting to Remote/Virtual Assistance Jan. 12 – Jan. 28

Starting today, Jan. 12, and through at least Friday, Jan.28, several student services at South Seattle College are shifting to remote and virtual assistance only (a list of those departments is provided below).  This change has been made due to significant staffing shortages that impact our ability to provide in-person services with consistency, and to help keep our campus community safe during the current COVID-19 omicron variant surge.

Virtual/remote assistance may include email and phone assistance, LiveChat, and Zoom appointments. During this time in-person services will not be offered for the departments and services listed below. If you have an in-person appointment scheduled, the department will be in touch to schedule you for a remote appointment.

It is possible remote services will be extended beyond Jan. 28 depending on staffing and public health considerations that will be monitored daily.

Please visit our Virtual Assistance page for details on how to contact student services that have shifted to remote operations.  You can also visit individual department webpages for contact information.
