Otter Fest is Here: Let's Celebrate 10 Years of Olivia Otter
Mark your calendar for October 13, 12:30 to 1:30 pm, in JMB A. That's when South Seattle College throws Otter Fest, our biggest birthday party yet, celebrating 10 years of Olivia Otter as the heart and soul of our campus.
Ten years ago, Olivia became our mascot. Since then, she has shown up at countless events and milestones, cheered on students at graduation, and become the face of South Seattle pride. Now it's her turn to be celebrated, and we're doing it in true Otter fashion: with cake, community, and a whole lot of heart.
Otter Fest is Part of Something Bigger
Otter Fest is the finale of Otterly Amazing: 10 Years of Otter Pride, a month-long campaign running September 8 through October 13 in support of the South Seattle College Foundation. Throughout the campaign, we've been sharing stories, memories, and Otter spirit from across campus. Otter Fest is where it all comes together.
Introducing the $10 for 10 Challenge
Here's how you can be part of the celebration: give $10 in honor of Olivia's 10th birthday. It's simple, it's meaningful, and it adds up fast.
Every dollar you give goes straight to critical student funding, the kind that helps South Seattle Otters stay enrolled, cover unexpected costs, and reach graduation. And thanks to a generous match from the South Seattle College Foundation, every gift will be matched up to $2,500. That means your $10 could become $20 for students who need it most.
Ten years of Olivia Otter. Ten dollars from you. One incredible impact for our students.
Join Us at Otter Fest
October 13, 12:30 to 1:30 pm, JMB A, open to current students, staff, and alumni
Swing by for games, activities, cupcakes, and selfies with Olivia herself. Our student clubs will also be tabling, so it's a great chance to see what's already out there and learn how to start a club of your own if you don't see one that fits.
Can't make it in person?
You can still be part of the celebration by taking the $10 for 10 challenge and giving in Olivia's honor.
Ten years of Otter Pride deserves a celebration this big. Thank you for being part of it.
